I initially started working at Holmefield in 2003 as a work experience student whilst studying for my A-Levels and then joined the team as a Veterinary Nursing Assistant before studying at Askham Bryan College and gaining a degree in Animal Management. I later qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in March 2011 whilst working at a practice in York but then re-joined the Holmefield team in September 2013.
I really enjoy running our nurse clinics and consultations, as I enjoy getting to know our clients and their pets, but the part of my job I most enjoy is running our Puppy Socialisation and Training classes.
At home we have a 12 year old tabby cat called Monty, who we rescued around 11 years ago and outside of work I enjoy playing hockey for a local team, which I have been part of for nearly 20 years. I also enjoy being creative, doing various arts and crafts.
