I started at Holmefield as a work experience student at the age of 14 in 2008, then joined the team after leaving school. I then completed my veterinary nurse training and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in June 2015.
I developed a keen interest in diabetes after one of my own cats developed the condition and I saw first-hand the difficulties owners can experience in caring for their diabetic pets, so I now run nurse diabetic clinics to share my experience.
I enjoy Anaesthetics and Emergency cases and am currently completing a certificate in Emergency and Critical Care and would be keen to complete a certificate in Anaesthesia in the future.
As our practice is recognised as a Gold Standard Cat Friendly practice I can easily combine my love of all things feline with work and I have willingly taken up the role of being one of our nominated ‘Cat Friendly’ nurses.
